is to be a healthy Multiplying Church that is moving toward reaching 1%.

When Jesus spoke these words, what did He mean? He was not offering an invitation to a destination; rather it was an invitation to a relationship with Himself. This relationship with Jesus radically changes one’s way of life. Following Jesus is what Christianity is all about. But what is the life of a Jesus follower all about? Answer: Relationships.

GOSPEL. FAMILY. KINGDOM.

THE GOSPEL LIFE

Jesus spent time with the Father. The first and primary relationship in the life of a follower of Jesus is with God.

THE FAMILY LIFE

Jesus spent time with the disciples. As followers of Jesus, we are to connect with other believers.

THE KINGDOM LIFE

Jesus' third relationship we see is with those far from God. As followers of Jesus we connect with those far from God.

STARTING POINT

FOLLOWER OF JESUS

We believe there are 4 strategic ways that we can choose to invest our time that grows all three of these relationships. We call it the 5% Life! As you invest your time in these ways, we believe you will deepen your walk with God, grow in community, and engage in God’s global mission in greater ways.

  • God Time: 1% of your day—approximately 15 minutes in God time daily.

  • Gather Time: 1% of your week—approximately an hour and a half—in Gather time weekly.

  • Group Time: 1% of your month— approximately seven hours—in Group time consistently.

  • Go Time: 2% of your year—approximately 7 days—in Go time annually.

We are convinced that if you embrace “The 5% Life” as a starting point, the other 95% of your life will be changed forever as you encounter Christ, connect in community, and engage in the mission.

Kingdom Expansion - We desire to join God in what He is doing in CFalls, the Valley, the Pacific Northwest, and all around the World.

STRATEGIC INITIATIVES

GOSPEL

By the end of 2025, we desire to establish healthy rhythms of encountering Christ personally and daily as a faith family. Intimacy is the most important aspect for us as a family.

  • Jesus Stories: We desire to see 56 people encounter Christ in Salvation.

  • God Time: We desire to see 100% of our covenant members spend 1% of their day in fellowship with God.

  • Theology Workshops: We desire to grow in our understanding and obedience to the Scriptures.

FAMILY

By the end of 2025, we desire to be a family of believers who prioritize life as a community on mission together.

  • Serving in your Sweet spot: We desire to use our gifts to the glory of God, the edification of the saints, and the advancement of the Kingdom.

  • Missional Driven in Community: We desire to be a church of groups, not a church with groups.

KINGDOM

By the end of 2025, we desire to be unified in our desire to reach 1%.

  • Disciple-Making Disciples: We desire for every covenant member to be in an intentional discipleship relationship.

  • Go Time: We desire to spend time going out corporately to share the gospel.

  • Engage the City as a Community: We desire to be a church of missional communities engaging strategic segments of our city. Each group will provide 12 missional opportunities a year.

STRATEGIC INITIATIVES

MULTIPLY PRAYER

By the end of 2025, we desire to be a church that multiplies a culture of prayer focused on Kingdom advancement.

  • Prayer Meetings: We desire to meet at least once a month to pray collectively for the advancement of God's Kingdom in our lives, our city, and our world.

  • Church-wide Fasts: We desire to be a church that seeks the face of God corporately. So we will make a practice of calling the church to fast consistently.

MULTIPLY GOSPEL

By the end of 2025, we desire to be a church that multiplies the Gospel by intentionally sharing in CFalls, the Valley, the Pacific Northwest, and the World.

  • Gospel Conversations: We desire to have 800 Gospel conversations a year, which prayerfully will lead to 14 salvations a year.

  • Church-wide House Of Peace Searches: We desire to spend time out in our city, our valley, the Pacific Northwest, and the world looking for people of peace.

MULTIPLY LEADERS

By the end of 2025, we desire to be a church that multiplies leaders by discovering, developing, and deploying church planting teams from within the Church.

  • Leadership Pathway: We desire to provide opportunities and training to develop Gateway's next leaders.

  • Summer Intern Residency: We desire to help others discover their calling through our summer internship.

  • Multiplier Residency: We desire to develop our next missional leaders who will be sent across our valley, Pacific Northwest, and the world to make disciples.

  • Church Planter Residency: We desire to assess, develop, and deploy church planters to see new communities of faith started all over the world.

MULTIPLY CHURCHES

By the end of 2025, we desire to be a church that multiplies churches through a regional network with a collective vision to reach the Valley, the Pacific Northwest, and the World.

  • 4 Churches in 4 years: We desire to plant 1 church every year that reaches 14 people. Our goal for these new churches is for them to plant a church every year that reaches 14 people as well.

  • 4 Hotspots: We desire to see a new church in Bigfork, Kalispell, Whitefish, Great Falls.

MOVING TOWARD 

REACHING 1%

By the end of 2025, we desire to be a church that is moving toward reaching 1% of CFalls, the Valley, and the Pacific Northwest.

  • The Prayer: If we can reach 14 people with the gospel every year and plant a church every year that reaches 14 people with the gospel then in 10 years we could prayerfully reach 1% of the Pacific Northwest for Jesus.

  • The Next 4 Years:

    • 140 people come to know Jesus.

    • 4 churches planted by Gateway.

    • 12 churches planted by a regional network.

  • The Next 10 Years:

    • 140 - CFalls ( 56 in next 4 years)

    • 1400 - Flathead Valley

    • 10,850 - Montana

    • 200,704 - Pacific Northwest
